I honestly think this is the most practical choice. It is what other refers to as the midrange kind and great for skaters that are just starting out. The designs are okay, they aren't exactly striking but simple enough to be flexible. It is durable. It is triple stitched and the sole grips the ground really well. It is also light so it does not add any unnecessary weight on you. The drawback that I found is its think cap and thin side panels. However, if you are just starting out, this will do just fine.

America Reynolds 2

This one is a bit pricey and will only recommend this to serious skaters but you can't ask for anything more in terms of the quality. It has triple stitching and it has multi layers of leather that makes your feet really comfortable. The tongue is also padded and the hell too. The design is classic and will surely never go out of style.

Vans Rowley XL2s

This is great. It really is. Just look at it and you know that you are looking at a great skate shoes. It is light, really light that makes your feet even more comfortable but you are still protected. The tongue is strong, upper part is leather and the padding of the heel is thick.

DC Griffin - Colin McKay Signature Skate Shoe

This one has a new revolution. Apparently, their brand is the most durable in the market because of the material called super suede and is combined with triple stitching that goes all the way to the toe caps. They are the only ones with this material and make in the market. This is really worth every penny.
